DAN UNDERWOOD

Dan Underwood, Construction Management Consultant, provides project management and construction management services to the LYNX team as well as independent clients through his company Underwood Management Resources, Inc. With over 21 years of experience in the construction industry and the oversight of both large residential and commercial construction projects, he has developed qualities such as attention to detail, problem solving and comprehensive communication that promote the successful completion of projects of any size.

After graduating from Westmont College with a degree in Business / Economics in 1988, he worked for 8 years managing his family's concrete pumping business operating in San Bernardino, California and Eugene, Oregon. In 1996 he began a career in the building industry as a project manager which led to a position in Santa Barbara where he supervised all departments involved in the construction of over 500 units of single family residential, multi-family residential, apartments, mixed use and commercial projects with a total construction value over $100,000,000.

Storke Ranch (275 single-family homes, townhomes and apartments)
Paseo Chapala (29 luxury condos and townhomes over retail space)
Garden Street Apartments (50 apartments and 15,000 sf of office space).

Dan and his family enjoy life in Santa Barbara and have adapted from life in the mountains to life at the beach, trading skis for surfboards. He is actively involved in Santa Barbara Community Church and supports other organizations such as Young Life with his time and resources.
